What you will do
- Create runnable pipelines and SQL with realistic bugs: joins, nulls, duplicates, time zones, late data.
- Write data checks and tests that fail on the bug and pass with the fix.
- Create migration tasks with checks that prove the result is correct.
- Review other engineers' tasks for realism, reproducibility and test quality.
What you will need
- 3+ years building data pipelines or analytics engineering in production.
- Strong SQL and Python.
- Clear written English.
Nice to have
- dbt, Airflow or Spark experience.
- Data quality or observability experience.
How you are assessed
data correctness, test quality, diagnosis, clear explanation.
