Terms of use
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the bluebill website, browse listings or apply to work with us. Paid work is covered by a separate contractor agreement, which you will see before you start any paid task.
Who we are
bluebill produces software engineering training data with professional engineers. In these terms, "we" and "us" means bluebill, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. "You" means anyone using the site or applying.
Who can apply
- You must be 18 or older.
- The information you give us must be true and your own. Do not apply on someone else's behalf.
- Applying does not guarantee an offer of work. We decide who to invite based on the published criteria for each role.
Your interview and application
- Before anything is recorded, you choose what you agree to on a separate consent page. Those choices are recorded exactly as you made them. The current wording is on our consent page.
- Your interview is used only to assess your application.
- We use your recordings and details to assess your application. A person makes every decision, and you get a written reason you can appeal.
- You can withdraw a permission or delete your application at any time using the private link we give you after your interview.
Licensing to AI developers
We do not license interview recordings, transcripts or resumes. If you gave licensing consent under an earlier version of our consent page, you can withdraw it at any time using your private link, and we will delete the files it covered.
Work you create on paid projects is licensed to AI developers to train and evaluate AI models, as set out in your contractor agreement.
Paid work
Pay rates, expected hours and assessment criteria are shown on each listing. Rates are in Australian dollars unless the listing says otherwise. If we invite you to paid work, a contractor agreement will set out payment, ownership of the work you produce, confidentiality and tax. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement applies to the paid work.
Using the site
- Do not try to access another person's application, interfere with the site, or upload anything you do not have the right to share.
- Do not share confidential information about patients, clients, employers or colleagues in your answers.
- We may update listings, pay rates and these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Liability
We provide the site as it is. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
